Chapter 10 part 3
Treasured Events and Some to Forget Part Three
Bradley panicked and grabbed Stacey and her pager as the ground continued to shake. He paged T.J as quickly as he could and pull Stacey so her head lay in his lap. He activated his sword and prepared to defend the both of them.
The walls were crumbling, this was a new one Bradley thought. He stretched across Stacey as bits of the roof fell down on them. He heard a scuttling sound and looked up. There was a giant centipede crawling down from a hole in the roof.
Bradley growled and let it come toward him as he frowned deeply. Hatred and anger radiated from him and he held Stacey closer to him as his sword glowed a brighter green. Rai was plunged into a cold liquid and then he realised that it was not as dark as he thought. He was still clinging to the jacket and looked wildly around.
The scene was horrific. Rai looked around and found that there were dead bodies surrounding him. The smell stung, clawing at his throat and making his eyes sting. At first all he could see were the remains of bodies and oozing liquids. Then he saw a glimmer and realised that there was someone with blonde hair just ahead of him.

Bradley was eager to get on as many rides as possible. He immediately headed for the bumper cars and Stacey and Megan rushed after him. T.J couldn't help but laugh and go on too as Alison dragged him off to follow. Ben and Lithia and Rai laughed at them all as they collided.

A Bloody, Stupid Miracle The day we’d cured the human condition was the day I put a bullet through my head and didn’t die. It was also the day I realized how scared I actually was of death, and after hours of muscle ache from holding that gauze against my open skull, after the wound closed and everything went back to normal, I had myself a good old-fashioned brainstorm. How ironic.
But when summer came, everything had fallen to shit. The air scorched my skin and parched my tongue every time I took a breath. The sun glared down on a rapidly-collapsing world, full of the undying bastard children of cruelty and misfortune. What was one to do when their cells regenerated faster than they decomposed?
My feet hit the pavement, now littered with jagged bits of glass to snap at my toes, thoroughly baked by the blazing ball of bitter disdain high overhead. Today was worse than yesterday. Though I’d often wondered the purpose of it anymore, I
